Elementary Track Camp (K-2nd Grade)

An opportunity for elementary students to learn the fundamentals of track and field. Grades K-2 students will learn correct running mechanics, hurdling, softball throwing and the long jump. Events will be coached by current and former high school coaches along with current Moorhead Spud track and field athletes. The first four sessions will be practices, and the last session will be a track meet. Grades K-2 participants will compete in the 70-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, softball throw, long jump, and 200-meter dash. All registered participants will receive a Moorhead Track Club t-shirt.

Location Schedule - Practices will take place at Horizon Middle School

Practices Days (Grades K-2):

SESSION A - May 6, 8, 13, 15 (5:45 - 7:15pm)

SESSION B - May 7, 9, 14, 16 (5:45 - 7:15pm)

Track Meet will take place at Moorhead High

Track Meet: May 19th (12:00 - 3:00pm for K - 2)

**Registrations taken after April 25th may result in delayed t-shirt distributions.
