Moorhead Elementary Track Camp (Grades K-2)

The Moorhead Track Club is an opportunity for elementary students to learn the fundamentals of track and field. Grades K-2 students will learn correct running mechanics, relay handoffs, hurdling, softball throwing and the long jump. Our events will be coached by current and former high school coaches along with current Moorhead Spud track and field athletes. Our first four sessions will be practices, and our last session will be an actual track meet. Grades K-2 participants will compete in the 70-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, softball throw and long jump. All registered participants will receive a Moorhead Track Club t-shirt.

Location Schedule - Practices will take place at Horizon Middle School

Practices Days: May 11 - 14 (5:45 - 7:15 for K - 2)

Track Meet will take place at Moorhead High

Track Meet: May 17th (12:00 - 3:00pm for K - 2)

Registration deadline is May 1, 2026 to guarantee a shirt for the start of camp.
