NewSewing and Gluing a Book - Creating a Journal to CherishArt, Music & PhotographyIn this class we will make a hard-cover journal with decorative stitching and pretty tapes that is a gift to yourself or someone else. The tape binding creates a sturdy book for journalling, artwork or a diary. Making a book by hand allows creative expression in many different ways and is deeply satisfying. We will cover the covers with decorative papers, fold inside signatures and stitch it all together over the 2 sessions. Supplies: Scissors and/or sharp exacto knife, glue stick, pencil, ruler, bone or Teflon folder or butter knife, cutting mat if you have one. If you have a particular paper and ribbon that you want to use for the covers, bring that along. All the other supplies will be provided.2026 Fall
