This class is perfect for beginners and those with experience just wanting to play in the clay. Projects will be using a variety of clay techniques along with slipping and scoring. We will also be working on slab building techniques to create clay projects. Once they are complete, they will be painted with clay-based paint. They take two weeks to dry before they can be fired. They are dipped in a clear glaze and fired again. The projects will be dropped off at the main office, and they will call or email you when they are ready to be picked up.

Come join me and learn oil painting techniques to create a fall landscape painting. Learn the different mediums used and how to use a variety of paint brushes. Then we will focus on the sky, clouds, and background. Next you will learn techniques for painting birch trees, leaves, and branches. Finally, we will work on adding all the details to create a finished product. These are wet on wet techniques, and your paintings will take time to dry depending on the colors used.
