EC Screening Friday, October 23, 2026
Early Childhood Screening is a FREE, one-time, growth and developmental check required by the State of Minnesota for all preschool aged children (ages 3-6) entering school in Minnesota, including JumpStart Preschool or Kindergarten. It is best done when your child is around 3 years of age. All students entering a Minnesota public school for Preschool or Kindergarten MUST have it completed within 90 days of the start of attendance. Screening appointments are held at Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St S, Moorhead. Screenings are offered about twelve times throughout the year. Screening is completed by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please note, if your child has a current IEP with Moorhead Preschool/Early Intervention Services, your child will not need this screening as this was completed during your child's evaluation. If you are unsure of the status of your child's IEP, please contact our office to verify prior to scheduling. Thank you! -

Together We Play, Then We Grow!
We begin class together with fun, engaging ECCFE activities that build connection, confidence, and commentary through play, songs, stories, and hands-on exploration. Then we “split and grow”-children separate into small groups with two early childhood teachers, grouped by age and or splitting siblings. This allows us to focus on developmentally appropriate skills, independence, and social growth while also supporting comfort and connection. During this same time, adults gather in a supportive parent group for conversation, ideas, and connection! A warm, welcoming ECFE experience where families start together, then grow in their own ways, building independence for children and community for grown-ups.Waitlist
