Starting SoonMoorhead Fall Dance Team (Grades 7-12)After School CampsThe Fall Dance Team is open to girls in grades 7-12. The goal of the Fall Dance Team is to grow as a dancer by building a foundation through technique, endurance and performance experience. Dancers will improve flexibility, strength and knowledge of choreography while learning 2-4 routines. We will practice Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We will perform at halftime during home football games and the Homecoming Parade. The purpose of the Fall team is to prepare girls for the competitive team; however, dancers do not need to be on the Highlights competitive winter team to join the fall team. Dancers should wear athletic pants (leggings/yoga pants), athletic top, tennis shoes and dance shoes for practice. For performances, dancers will wear the team shirt (included in class cost), black leggings, black tights and black dance shoes.2026 Fall -
Moorhead JumpStart PreschoolMoorhead Area Public Schools preschool provides an inclusive, creative and safe place for your child to learn and grow. Moorhead Jump Start Preschool is a program of Moorhead Community Education. The program aligns with the Moorhead Area Public Schools K-12 curriculum and is a collaborative venture with the Early Intervention Services. Children working on special areas of development will participate with typically developing peers. Each classroom is taught by a licensed Early Childhood Teacher along with a teacher's assistance and is also supported by an Early Interventions Teacher. We offer age appropriate activities, curriculum and assessment. Moorhead Jump Start Preschool is available to students that are at least 4-years of age and living in the Moorhead Area Public School District. Enrollment is determined by age on September 1 of the current school year. Moorhead Jump Start Preschool is offered as separate sessions in the morning and afternoon 4 times a week: Monday through ThursdayAM Session: 8:30am - 11:00amPM Session: 12:00pm - 2:30pm The cost for Moorhead Jump Start Preschool is $215 per month. Financial assistance is available to students that qualify. Please let our office know if you would like to apply for this assistance. Transportation is not provided.
