Bring your Minecraft world to life with your own custom art. In Minecraft Game Art Studio, students will transform their love of the game into creative skills by designing player skins, themed texture packs, simple UI icons, and 2D sprites that can be exported and used at home. Along the way, they’ll learn the fundamentals of pixel art—like readability, color palettes, and tiling—while gaining beginner-friendly file skills to make their art usable beyond camp. Unleash your inner music producer in Music Tech & Beatmaking! This creativity-first camp introduces students to the world of digital music production as they craft drum patterns, bass lines, and melodies, then arrange loops into full tracks. With simple tools and beginner-friendly techniques, students will also learn basic “mastering” skills to give their songs a polished, punchy sound. By the end of camp, everyone will walk away with their own exported tracks to share with friends and family—making this the perfect blend of technology, creativity, and self-expression through music. -

This class is designed to be a comprehensive 30-hour self paced class with the Minnesota student in mind. Our industry leading video series utilizes our proven teaching methods that will keep the student engaged throughout the learning process. Start classes anytime and take all 30 hours at your own pace (up to 3 hours per day). Classes are on-demand, self paced, and entertain a "live" classroom setting with Minnesota Licensed instructors. Students have 6 months to complete the online classroom program which is fully approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. -

Basketball Buddies Camp (Guardian & Child)
This camp is designed for boys who want to learn about the game of basketball! We will focus on introductory-level skills while emphasizing having FUN! All participants must be accompanied by an active adult 18 years or older for the duration of the camp. This camp will be run by the high school boys coaching staff and they look forward to working with the young Spud basketball players! (This camp is for Boys who are in the age range of 3 to Pre-School (not for boys who will be going into Kindergarten in the fall of 2026)). -
Battle Drones (Grades 3-8)
Battle Drones features an exciting combination of aerial acrobatics with an engineering design challenge that will teach students STEM concepts, teamwork, and how to skillfully fly a drone. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents’ drones. Students will be guided by experienced camp instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize projectile speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. The best drone pilots and launchers will emerge victorious. -
Boys Soccer Summer League
The Spuds Summer League is a chance for players to develop skills and team relationships before the fall soccer season begins in August. Players will meet at the MHS soccer fields for practice on Tuesdays and will play games between local high schools on Wednesdays. Players will need their own water, soccer ball, shin guards and soccer cleats. -
Classroom Drivers Education
Moorhead Area Public Schools’ Driver Education classroom program is open to high school students age 15 or older living in the Moorhead School District. Register through the Community Education office, 2777 34th St. S., 218-284-3400. Information sheets and registration forms also can be picked up at the Moorhead High activities office. Financial aid is not available through the district. Students are responsible to bring a Chromebook or internet capable equivalent electronic device to class. Moorhead students are welcome to use their school assigned Chromebook. If a student does not have a device, please contact the Community Education office for rental options at least one week before class. This 30-hour class prepares students for their instructional permit. Steps for people under 18 years of age to get a Minnesota driver's license: 1. Complete mandatory 30 hours of scheduled classroom instruction. Students cannot be absent or tardy when attending this course. A 90-minute parent component will be scheduled for this class in compliance with Minnesota law. If the parent class is taken then the practice driving hours are reduced from 50 hours to 40. 2. Register for behind-the-wheel training, with a private vendor and receive the blue card. The blue card is issued by the vendor providing the behind-the-wheel instruction and is required to take the state permit test. 3. Take and pass the state permit test. Students registering for the permit test must provide: one primary ID, one secondary ID and the blue card. Primary ID options: state issued ID, current passport or state certified birth certificate. Secondary ID options: Social Security card, student ID with picture and ID number, or certified school transcript. Upon passing the permit test, making payment, and parent/guardian signature, students receive their permit. 4. Complete behind-the-wheel training. Students must have a permit before they can start behind-the-wheel instruction. 5. Complete the six-month practice period. Minnesota law now requires drivers to have a permit for six months before taking the road test. Every driver under the age of 18 who completes behind-the-wheel instruction and is testing for a provisional driver’s license must submit a driving log. 6. Pass road test. To take the road test, students must be 16 years old and have had their permit for six months. Drive on provisional license until qualifications for full license are met. You must complete all 30 hours of scheduled class to be able to get your permit. If the 30 hours are not completed you will have to register and pay full price for the class again. No absences or tardies allowed. Please note location at registration. Students must attend all 30 hours in person. -
Clay Camp for Kids (Grades 1-9)
Come be creative and have fun playing in the clay. Using pinch pot, coil, and slab techniques to create anything you can imagine. You will create 4 different projects with an additional project on the pottery wheel. Projects use pinch and roll techniques along with slipping and scoring. We will also be working on slab and coil techniques to create clay boxes and bowls. Once they are complete, they will be painted with a clay-based paint. The projects will be dropped off at the main office and they will call or email you when they are ready to be picked up. -
Drone Racing (Grades 3-8)
Students will learn how to fly like the pros in the Drone Racing League by training on a flight simulator. Once they learn the basics of flying, they’ll assemble their very own drone which they can optionally purchase during the camp. After learning drone safety and maintenance, students will take their drone to the skies and compete in numerous races and challenges. Led by experienced instructors, students will leave camp with the skills and knowledge to pilot their drones and keep them running. The drones used in camps have cameras, and are perfect for entry level pilots. -
Eureka Engineering (Grades 3-8)
Eureka Engineering introduces students to the core skills of robotics and STEM through engaging, hands-on learning opportunities. Student groups will work with Lego Mindstorm kits, which include both electrical and mechanical components. The small groups will be mentored by experienced and passionate instructors. Parents are welcome to watch their child’s robotic creations come to life in exciting and competitive challenges including drag racing, fighting robots and more. -
Girls Basketball Camp (Grades K-12)
Grab your shoes and join your friends for the girls basketball camp. See you on the court! Please bring a filled water bottle and a personal basketball if you have one. All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to join us! -
Heart Centered Horse Series
Join us for a heart-centered summer horse series at High Tail Ranch, facilitated by Whisper With Horses. These 2-hour evening sessions blend safe horsemanship, grooming, groundwork, and riding with confidence-building and emotional awareness.Participants will learn how to safely interact with horses while experiencing the powerful ways horses help regulate our nervous systems, build self-confidence, and strengthen communication skills. Horses offer honest, real-time feedback and teach us how to be present, grounded, and authentic. Each session includes: Horse safety and handling, Grooming and groundwork, Riding at your comfort level, Connection-based activities, Emotional regulation through horse partnership No prior experience required. All levels are welcome. Horses, tack, and helmets provided. Closed toe shoes and pants required. -

Kid Cookie Camp
Campers will practice rolling and cutting with playdough, learn to decorate themed sugar cookies, enjoy a story time (bring a nut-free snack and water), and complete a coordinating craft. In RC Wars, teams of students will build their own Remote Control vehicles to race and battle against other teams. Students will need to design their vehicles to not only be faster and stronger than other teams’ creations, but also better than purchased RC Cars and Drones. RC Wars will feature land and air races, obstacle courses and more as students learn mechanical and electrical building skills in an energetic and exciting environment. -

Saddle & Soul: Summer Horse Day Camp
Spend the day immersed in the world of horses at beautiful High Tail Ranch! This one-day camp is a fun, hands-on experience filled with riding, connection, and confidence-building.
